About Mark

Mark Atteberry is internationally known for his headshot, advertising, and documentary photography. His clients include CAA, ICM, WME, NBC, CBS, A&E, Bravo, Venice Magazine, Big Lots and many more. Mark was voted as one of the “Best Headshot Photographers in Los Angeles” by BackStage West magazine and in 2010 he was honored by the Photography for Social Change Foundation as one of the top 100 documentary-style photographers in the world.

As an actor Mark’s feature film work ranges from blockbuster hits like David Fincher’s Gone Girl and Ang Lee’s The Hulk to notable indies like Miranda July’s The Future and the multi-award winning Butterfly Circus. His numerous television roles include hit shows like Yellowstone, Dahmer, Curb Your Enthusiasm, This Is Us, 9-1-1, S.W.A.T., Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Black-ish, American Crime, Code Black, Scandal, NCIS, Grey’s Anatomy, Rules of Engagement, Criminal Minds, The Newsroom, Dexter, House, M.D., The Mentalist, Justified, 24 and many, many more.

Known as LA’s Type Specialist, Mark lectures regularly on the topics of Branding, Image and Type and Acting in LA. He has written and co-written several books on the topic including “The Working Actor’s Guide to LA.” Mark is the founder of the Be A Working Actor Studios in Los Angeles.
